Faces Of Earth

Paul Schwarz It's hard not to love something coherent that involves Mike Vest on guitar, tbh. Simple but significant songtitles. A real trip, man. More rhythmic than many of the best, you could argue. For "Dust", Vest sits in the background letting the groove get going - just laying back, letting it sink in. You can even hear the blues there somewhere... Favorite track: Terra.
Logen Ninefingers
Logen Ninefingers thumbnail
Logen Ninefingers A supergroup featuring members of Bong and Terminal Cheesecake, that performs skronky (sometimes sludgy) instrumental psych. 'Earth' is all dubby bass and percussion before propelling onwards with an apocalyptic, post-rock blast and sheets of feedback guitar. 'Terra' starts at breakneck speed and doesn't let go, with big grungy chords cutting through reverbed sci-fi sounds and furious drums. While on 'Gaia' and 'Dirt', Melting Hand prove they are at their best when they blast off skywards. Favorite track: Earth.
Levrikon thumbnail
Levrikon Fantastic muddy-sludgy 'earth rock'. Sounds like something the gang at Spahn Ranch might have done in one of their jammy moments. Psychedelic, dusty, and natural. The perfect soundtrack to your next hippie freakout. Favorite track: Earth.
